One of my best friend’s weddings brought us to France for four nights in a chateau in the Loire Valley. I had visited Paris before (and did not love it) but spending time in the countryside with all of your friends was a totally different experience.

Accommodations: All of the wedding party stayed at Chateau de Chanze in Bellevigne-en-Layon.

Tours and Activities: Outside of wedding activities, we toured Chateau de Brissac, toured the Cointreau distillery, and did a wine tasting at the Chateau led by the Chateau’s owner (one of the highlights of the trip). We very quickly swung through Paris on our way back so Dave and others with us could see the Eiffel Tower and other Paris staples.
