My parents did a cross country road trip to Alaska in the summer of 2023, so we flew up to meet them and Scottie and Ali to spend a week exploring Palmer, Girdwood, and Seward.

Accommodations: We stayed in AirBnBs in both Palmer and Seward. The Seward one had a great location, convenient to the waterfront and shops and restaurants.

Activities:

• Dream A Dream Sled Dog Tour
• Salmon fishing charter (I was not a fan of our boat captain, but at least we all caught one!)
• Winner Creek Gorge hike
• Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center
• Kenai Fjords boat tour (seas were rough but the wildlife and glacier views were great)
• Sealife Center
• Disc golf with a moose at Kincaid park
